Work starts at Longbridge

Redevelopment of former Rover car works in Birmingham commenced.
Hawk Contracts is pleased to announce the commencement of an extensive investigation and ground clearing programme on Longbridge West fronting the A38 Bristol Road South on behalf of St Modwen, the UK's leading regeneration specialist.
A fleet of new equipment has been purchased for the project including two new Komatsu PC450's and two new Komatsu PC350's, which are a new addition to the Hawk fleet.
The works comprise full remediation of the site, breaking and excavation of concrete bases and structures, and movement and compaction of materials to clear and prepare the site for future development.
