Training day

On Tuesday 08 September 2009 Safety And Training held their bi-annual standardisation day for all staff and instructors attached to the Centre.

The day commenced with an informative presentation by Shrewsbury Fire and Rescue on road accidents. As the instructors spend the majority of their working week travelling to and from customer sites the presentation proved to be very thought provoking. This was followed by a standards meeting.

The afternoon was set aside for training which included use of fire extinguishers and a scaffold inspection course.

The day proved very productive and was enjoyed by all.
